While "Time Landscape" was proposed to the city of New York in 1965, it wasn't until 1978 that it was realized. These historical photographs

document the planting and installation of "Time Landscape" in 1978 and give a glimpse into how the park has grown and developed over the years to

become a wonderful part of the urban landscape of Lower Manhattan and shows Alan Sonfist's commitment to bringing nature back to the city.
